Sandia Creek Century Climbing

Did Sandia Creek reverse route today.

Didn't get out of town till 0800. Basic reverse route up toward Bonsall first. Met Roberto and riding friend before Champagne Blvd and rode a ways with them. Meet them on Tuesday quite often.

Altered the route and went up Circle R and Lilac Road before Bonsall, then picked up the route and headed north thru Fallbrook. Met 2 hot chic riders near Fallbrook. Said they were doing a loop down to Hwy. 76. One was on a hybird bike and was wishing for a real road bike for the climbs.

Quite windy as I rolled into Temecula and made the normal stop at Bedford Ln. 7-Eleven. I was in cruise mode up the big climb on Rancho Santa Fe with the side winds blowing at 15 mph. No cyclists sighted thru Sandia Creek or DeLuz Road to Fallbrook. Real good riding and legs were good as I kept the HR down around 150. Stopped at Bonsall again for a HF Sundae and headed back up Champagne Blvd climb. SOMA had a loose rear NDS spoke when I got home. Per, John M., didn't use my normal Shellac on the spoke threads! Next time?
