Mike's New Route in the Mix

Mike's prelim Permanent route

In the continuing quest to enhance and enlighten the local rando community, another new Permanent is in the works. Mike Shaw has been working on his new route entitled "North County Loop". I've thrown some ideas his way from time to time. Mike submitted this route to RUSA and reported back that Crista Borras (RUSA Permanent Coordinator) put it in her busy Que for review. Crista will check it out, make notes and then later send it on to the San Diego Regional Brevet Co-ordinator Dennis Stryker for review. Hopefully later this month Mike will have the route approval and be riding it!

This route was based on a training ride Mike and sometimes his buddy Sandy Aniya do all the time. Ample amount of climbing and hits the coast for some hard-body views too! Looks like a good Populaire.
